140g flour
250g sugar
250g walnuts
140g butter
4 eggs
icing sugar (optional)

Recipe:
Grind 160g of nuts with 1 tablespoon of sugar and keep the rest for presentation
Weigh 140g of flour
Beat the melted butter and sugar together
Separate the whites from the yolks
Add the yolks one by one to the mixture
Add the ground nuts
Add the flour
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt
Fold the egg whites into the mixture
Pour into a buttered and floured cake tin
Bake at 175° in the middle of the oven for 35 to 40 minutes
Sprinkle with impalpable sugar and decorate with walnut kernels
