1. Clean stainless steel with soapy water
For all kitchen utensils but also for the sink, the hood, stainless steel appliances, Marseille soap with a dish brush or a sponge is fully enough.
You can wash your stainless steel while doing zero waste by opting for a natural sponge like a Loofah and using a bar of Marseille soap in bulk. Easy, isn't it ?

2. Clean stainless steel with baking soda
Baking soda has many uses ... and one of them is to take care of stainless steel. Simply put a little baking soda in hot water. Stir, the baking soda will dissolve in the water (you will see foam appear) and simply clean the stainless steel with this foam. Then, wipe the stainless steel with a cloth or a microfiber sponge to avoid streaks.

3. Clean stainless steel with diluted white vinegar
Another product with many uses is vinegar. One of these uses is to make the stainless steel perfect. If you have cleaned your sink, for example, and there are still traces, you can simply use diluted vinegar to remove them.
In order to do this, mix half water and half vinegar. Then, take a cloth and soak it in the mixture and then pass it over the stainless steel.

4. Clean stainless steel with oil and lemon
Another 100% natural tip is to mix oil and lemon. This will give a new shine to your stainless steel and remove stains.
The citric acid found in lemons (hence the name) is a great zero waste product for your home. It removes stains and has no harmful effects on the environment.

5. Clean stainless steel with newspaper
A tip that may seem surprising but has been known for decades is to clean stainless steel with newspaper. Indeed, the newspaper allows the stainless steel surfaces to shine. Simply take a sheet of newspaper and make small circles while rubbing.
You will notice that your sink, hood or other stainless steel element that you have cleaned will have a mirror effect almost like the first day!
I advise you to first clean your stainless steel well with a solution above before starting to rub with your newspaper.
